In a fictional Earth (Universe), very few are allowed to wield the power of the natural elements found within the planet’s surface. These select few are trained to become heroes in order to protect the citizens against the everyday criminal minds and extraterrestrial occurrences. A difficult but rewarding job, these heroes will always find a way to come out on top and keep their city safe.

A young woman named Valerie-Patrice also wields such earthly powers. Going under the alias, Vortex, it is her job to snuff the heroes out.

Hello little ones, my name is Nox and I will tell you a story, a story that takes place in the land of Avane.  What is Avane you ask? Why it is a mystical land far from here, full of peace and harmony.  Avane is split into six different regions.  These regions are “The Forest, theHigh Grasslands, the Misty Mountains, the Winter Tundra, the Forgotten Plains, and the Great Lake of Varelia”.  Within these regions a specific creature is tasked to guard that region from threat.  They are known as Guardians. 

We will be focusing on one certain young guardian. Who is this guardian we will be talking about?  Well I’ll tell you. Her name is Fawn and this is her story.
